|
|
Hello...
I activated the Download Section and added a file for download. In the file path for 'Add Download' I put in the absolute path to the file; i.e. http//domain.com/downloads/filename.exe.
I have tried to chmod 777 and 666 the downloads folder but I still get an ERROR 404 when clicking on the link in the Download Section of PHP Nuke. The file names are correct and the file does exist in the /downloads folder.
Is this problem related to the ISP, folder permissions, or what? What file path should I use?
Thanks in advance.
Bill

Well,
I upgraded to phpnuke 6.8 and now to 6.9. The Downloads section is now working. I am linking to the domain name minus the www in front. I tried this before and it didn't work.
But.. It works now. So I am happy. I am now trying to resolve some other issues.
Thanks for the reply. |
